What does the SourcePointeHR (SPHR) onboarding process entail?

First, you are assigned a dedicated onboarding assistant that will guide you throughout the process. The onboarding process for SPHR Payroll and Team Management starts with setting up your company in the SPHR HRIS system. The process then proceeds to a custom in-depth tutorial based on your company’s operational details and requirements.

What happens if I had a previous payroll provider before moving to SourcePointeHR (SPHR)?   During onboarding, your onboarding team will ask you for your prior provider credentials in order to access the provider. We will then export all of the employee-related data in order to add new employees and their quarterly data into the SPHR system.

How do I receive my login information for SPHR Payroll?

Your login information will be provided during the onboarding process.

 

Payroll/Pay FAQs

How do I pay my employees?

There are two options for paying employees: hourly or salaried. Hourly employees will be paid by hours submitted to SPHR. Salaried employees will have their pay automatically calculated each pay period based on their salary.

How often can I pay my employees?

Once per week (weekly), every two weeks (bi-weekly, two days each month (semi-monthly), or once per month (monthly). This frequency can be specified during onboarding.

When will my employees receive their pay?

Employees will receive their direct deposits on the day listed as their check date. Please note, we recommend posting payroll two days prior to your check date to ensure there are no shipping delays.

What options does SPHR offer for how employees receive their pay?

  • Direct Deposit - This is a commonly used method. Electronically deposited directly to the employee's active bank account on the pay date.

  • SPHR Pay Card - an SPHR Pay Card can be used similarly to a debit card and employees may receive same-day payouts.

  • Paper Check - if the paper check is chosen.
